Monica lives with her husband, having moved to Wallington at the age of 18 from inner London 12 years before. Monica has lived in London her entire life living in Lambeth, Wandsworth and Croydon before moving out to the suburbs while a student at a London University.
Monica has been a council officer for nearly 10 years, working in several London councils. As a hobby, Monica is also a fully qualified T.C.R.G, Irish Dancing teacher, and teaches children and adults in Sutton, Merton and Wandsworth.
Monica was elected in May 2010 as a Ward Councillor for Wallington South and sits on the Development Control Committee, Scrutiny Overview Committee as well as the Local Committee. As a younger councillor, Monica is keen to ensure that she represents the younger population of the borough.
