Jill has lived on the Poet's Estate in Carshalton Central Ward for the last 14 years. She is an old girl of Wallington High School for Girls. She is married with two adult sons, one of whom attended Sutton Grammar School.
Jill is vice-Chair of Carshalton & Clockhouse Local Committee and vice-Chair of Scrutiny Overview Committee. She also sits on the Development Control Committee, the Sustainable Communities Scrutiny Committee, the Pensions Committee and is on the Joint Sutton-Croydon Bandon Hill Cemetery Committee.
She is also an active member of several local groups, being the recent Chair of Friends of the Grove and Chair of the Erskine Village and Benhill Community Association for the last few years. She is also a committee member of the Friends of Carshalton Park, a school governor at All Saints Primary School, Carshalton and a member of the Carshalton Central Police Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Jill's interests include the environment, education, community engagement and community safety.
