Councillor Bruce Glithero has been involved in local politics since 2006 when he was first elected to the Council. During that time he has been involved with many local people on important issues.
Achievements to date include helping to secure funding to get the Elm's Pond repaired and the fountain re-instated following a long period of decline and damage. This issue had been brought up at the Beddington and Wallington Local Committee on more than one occasion and Councillor Glithero championed this cause to get a satisfactory resolution.
Another major achievement was the introduction of the smoking ban in children's playgrounds in the parks. This change in behaviour is for the benefit of the children who wish to play in a smoke-free environment and has been well received.
Bruce was re-elected with a big increase in the number of votes received and is continuing to work hard for residents.
