A ward is an electoral district represented by one or more councillors. It is the primary unit of British administrative and electoral geography.
The London Borough of Sutton is divided into eighteen electoral wards, each with three councillors. Apart from Belmont ward they are all served by at least one Liberal Democrat Councillor.
