Abigail was also the LibDem candidate in 2008 when she achieved the highest ever vote for the party in the Croydon & Sutton constituency.
She was elected as the youngest member of Sutton Council between 2006 - 2010. Abigail has played an active role in community development and is proud of the close relationships that she has built with local community groups and schools in the area.
In addition to her political work and activity Abigail has also worked for Scope. During her time there she developed a large number of national campaigns many of which resulted in significant legislation and policy changes which have improved, and continue to improve, the lives of disabled people. She is currently Head of External Affairs for a FTSE listed company.
