Graham Tope - a Life in Politics
In 2011, the Liberal Democrats celebrated twenty-five years of political control in the London Borough of Sutton. How did Graham Tope and his colleagues transform the political situation in this once "safe Conservative" borough? What motivated him to dedicate his life to political activism? This book presents an extended conversation between Graham and his elder son, charting his journey from Young Liberal to MP, Leader of a Council, member of the House of Lords, and founding member of the Greater London Authority.
