A message from Paul Burstow, Liberal Democrat MP for Sutton and Cheam
You may have heard that the local Liberal Democrats have put together a bid to make North Cheam and Worcester Park an even better place to live and work.
The plans that Lib Dem councillors have put together aims to get £2 million worth of investment from City Hall to create new jobs, improve public transport and revamp the Worcester Park and North Cheam shopping areas.
With news due on whether or not the bid has been successful, we have launched a "Back the Bid" campaign to highlight to the Mayor of London just how much local people want this investment.
