Burstow Meets Minister to Thrash out Solution to Worcester Park Flooding New!

Local Liberal Democrat MP, Paul Burstow, met with Environment Minister Huw Irranca-Davies and officials from the Environment Agency on Thursday (4th Feb 2010) to press for action to protect residents in Green Lane, Worcester Park from the risk of flooding. The MP called the meeting after news that a scheme drawn up by the Environment Agency to alleviate the flood risk had been abandoned on cost grounds.

It also shows that dementia research remains severely underfunded compared to other conditions like cancer and heart disease.
